Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Dietetics and Applied Nutrition
1. Minimum percentage is 50% or B grade for students who have the following degrees: B.Sc. Foods and Nutrition, B.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition, B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc . Public Health and Nutrition, B.Sc. Applied Nutrition.
2. The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is a minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission into the desired program.
Admission Process
1. Some colleges also offer admission on the basis of obtained merit at the level of graduation. However, generally, in most of the colleges and institutes offering the course, admission is provided based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance test, conducted at any State and national levels, followed by a subsequent round of counseling.
2. Apart from the merit-based admission procedure, students are only eligible for admission if they crack the entrance exam.
3. With the entrance exam score card, the candidates need to participate in the counseling round.
4. The counseling round usually involves two additional rounds- Group Discussion and Personal Interview. This round is basically arranged to examine the candidate’s general aptitude and knowledge regarding this particular course.
